Northgate scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Morrow Mustangs by a score of 82-80. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (69), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Andre Jernigan was his usual excellent self, putting up 31 points for Morrow. The dominant performance gave Jernigan a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jauquez Grimes, who posted 13 points.

The defeat snapped Northgate's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-7 record. As for Morrow, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Northgate has already played their next match (against Temple), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Morrow has already played their next game, a 75-31 loss against Ambassador Christian School on the 18th.
