London skates past Mathis with ease

Recap: London Pirates vs. Mathis Pirates
There's no place like home for The London Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Mathis 28-0 at home. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but London was the (much) better team in the second half.
When it comes to explaining why Mathis lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Ethan Ybarra. Despite the final result, he rushed for 92 yards on only eight carries.
London now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Mathis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
London will face off against San Diego at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in San Diego's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five contests. Mathis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
