Baseball Recap: Gulf Pointe Latin Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gulf Pointe Latin's offense. They came up short against the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions on Tuesday, falling 19-0. The Gladiators haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Gulf Pointe Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Gulf Pointe Latin will square off against Santa Rosa Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give Gulf Pointe Latin their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as L.E.A.D. Academy Lions face off against Pensacola Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
