Baseball Recap: Edmonson County Takes a Loss

Edmonson County managed to slip by Ohio County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 11-4 to the Eagles on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Hunter Wilson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. Edmonson County is 3-1-1 when Wilson posts two or more runs, but 2-8 otherwise.
