Softball Recap: Fort Myers Green Wave vs. Westminster Christian Warriors
After flying high against Monarch in their first game on Saturday, Fort Myers came back down to earth. The Fort Myers Green Wave wound up on the wrong side of a tough 14-3 walloping at the hands of the Westminster Christian Warriors in their second game on Saturday.
Fort Myers saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tori Fulcher, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
On Westminster Christian's side, Kaley Dyer made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Dyer was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
