Basketball Recap: Shaw Comes Up Short

Shaw came into this matchup off a tough 39-point defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Riverside Bulldogs by a score of 46-44 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-40 back in January.

Shaw has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-17 record this season.

Shaw will be playing at home against South Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
