Football Game Preview: Incline Highlanders vs. Battle Mountain Longhorns + How To Watch

The Incline Highlanders will venture away from home to challenge the Battle Mountain Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Saturday, Incline made easy work of Yerington and carried off a 53-32 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Lucas MacDonald produced another solid performance throwing for 328 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 108 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Those 328 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, after only 13 points in their last matchup, Battle Mountain made sure to put some points up on the board against Coral Academy of Science - Reno on Thursday. The Longhorns simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Falcons 41-7. The Longhorns pushed the score to 41-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

Incline's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Battle Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-2.

Incline was dealt a bruising 47-13 defeat at the hands of Battle Mountain in their previous matchup back in September. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Highlanders were down 28-6.
