Baseball Game Preview: Amesbury Redhawks vs. Triton Regional Vikings

The Amesbury Redhawks will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Triton Regional Vikings at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Amesbury comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Amesbury came up short against Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School on Tuesday, falling 10-4.

Meanwhile, Triton Regional never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Newburyport as they made off with a 6-0 win. The matchup marked the Vikings' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Amesbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Triton Regional, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Amesbury suffered a grim 11-4 defeat to Triton Regional in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Redhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
