Merino is 9-1 against Haxtun since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Fightin' Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Merino will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Tuesday, Merino got the win against Yuma by a conclusive 3-0.

Merino walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 25-20.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Haxtun, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Cheyenne Wells with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Merino's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Haxtun, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-8.

Merino took their victory against Haxtun when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fightin' Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
