Basketball Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

Montgomery lost against South Williamsport back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Montgomery Red Raiders took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Williamsport Mountaineers. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for South Williamsport, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Montgomery will take on Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Williamsport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Muncy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Muncy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something South Williamsport surely won't give up without a fight.
