Volleyball Recap: Calamus-Wheatland Find Success

Calamus-Wheatland won the last time they faced Fort Madison and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bloodhounds 2-1.

Calamus-Wheatland's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Fort Madison, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Calamus-Wheatland will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Edgewood-Colesburg at 5:15 p.m. As for Fort Madison, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Central City on the 6th.
