Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Takes a Loss

Tabernacle Christian lost against Indiana Christian Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tabernacle Christian Eagles were dealt a 73-37 loss at the hands of the Indiana Christian Academy Whirlwinds. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.

Indiana Christian Academy was led to victory by Seth Plew and Sawyer Tipton. Plew shot 70% from the field to rack up 19 points, while Tipton posted 14 points. What's more, Tipton also posted an 80% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Porter Plew, who scored eight points.

Tabernacle Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. The victory (which was Indiana Christian Academy's 32nd in a row) raised their record to 34-1.

Tabernacle Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-39 defeat against Crosspointe Christian Academy on the 25th. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-31 win against Heartland Christian on the 27th.
