Volleyball Recap: Seven Lakes' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Cinco Ranch on Tuesday, Seven Lakes came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Bridgeland Bears on Friday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-19.

Gracie Hobin paced Seven Lakes' offense, picking up nine kills. Hobin got some help from Keira Do and her 13 assists.

Seven Lakes' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2. As for Bridgeland, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Coming up, Seven Lakes will challenge Stratford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bridgeland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Fulshear on the 23rd.
