Soccer Game Preview: Wickliffe vs. Chardon

The Wickliffe Blue Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Chardon Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chardon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.0 goals per game this season.

On Thursday, Wickliffe didn't have quite enough to beat Lutheran West and fell 5-4.

Meanwhile, Chardon waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins...and they left with four. They never let the Rangers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. While Chardon didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Chardon has now won four of their last five games at home. That gives them a 6-2 record this season. Those home wins came by way of their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five matches. As for Wickliffe, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
