Volleyball Recap: Sachem East Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Sachem East had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Bay Shore Marauders on Friday. Sachem East was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bay Shore apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-13.

Bay Shore's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Bay Shore has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Smithtown East on the 13th. Hopefully Sachem East paid attention to Bay Shore's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Bay Shore at 3:30 p.m. on October 1.
