Basketball Recap: Wynford Comes Up Short

Wynford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Pleasant Spartans 60-25. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 71-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2017.

Wynford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Pleasant, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Wynford will venture away from home to square off against Monroeville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasant, they will welcome Shelby at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
