Baseball Recap: Pocahontas County Warriors vs. Bath County Chargers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tygarts Valley, Pocahontas County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bath County Chargers by a score of 5-2. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Warren Burns was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Burns was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
