Recap: Excelsior Springs Tigers vs. Braymer Bobcats

The Excelsior Springs Tigers suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Braymer 62-27. Excelsior Springs was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.

Braymer was led to victory by Carter Shoe and Dakota Brandon. Shoe scored 18 points along with five rebounds, while Brandon scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shoe has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Haley, who scored eight points along with eight assists and six rebounds.

Excelsior Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Braymer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Excelsior Springs will be playing at home against Winnetonka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Braymer won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Richmond at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. One thing working in Richmond's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
