Volleyball Recap: Oak Creek Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Oshkosh West

Oak Creek faced Oshkosh West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Isa Ruether paced Oak Creek's offense, picking up 12 kills. Ruether got some help from Julia Schneider and her 20 assists. Schneider was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Oak Creek is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-16 record this season. As for Oshkosh West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-7.

Oak Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oshkosh West, they will take on West Bend West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
