Basketball Recap: Wartburg Central Takes a Loss

Wartburg Central lost against Midway back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wartburg Central Bulldogs received a blow as they fell 77-58 to the Midway Green Wave.

Wartburg Central has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Midway, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wartburg Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rockwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midway, they will square off against Scott at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
