Softball Recap: Jackson's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Jackson lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Glacier Peak, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Timberwolves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Grizzlies a 7-0 shutout on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Timberwolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Glacier Peak, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will challenge Mariner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glacier Peak, they will take on Marysville Getchell at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
