Wyandanch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a hard 60-45 fall against the Hauppauge Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-37 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Wyandanch still got an impressive performance from Nyasia Murphy, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Shayna Severe, who posted seven points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Wyandanch smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. This was only their eighth loss (out of nine games) when they hit their own glass that hard.

Wyandanch's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Hauppauge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.
