Basketball Recap: Imlay City Comes Up Short

Imlay City lost against Detroit Country Day back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Imlay City Spartans took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets.

Imlay City's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Detroit Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Imlay City will venture away from home to square off against Yale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Yale will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Imlay City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Detroit Country Day, they are taking a road trip to challenge Chippewa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
