Baseball Recap: West Delaware Comes Up Short

West Delaware was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Independence Mustangs, falling 14-7. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-1 defeat on Monday.

West Delaware's loss dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Independence, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat West Delaware by a score of 6-1 later that day.
