Basketball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss

Algonac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Armada Tigers and fell 66-17. The Muskrats lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 61-38 score last time.

Algonac's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Armada, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Algonac and Cardinal Mooney Catholic will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Armada will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Marysville at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
