Softball Recap: Glenbrook South Gets the Win

The matchup between Glenbrook South and Maine South on Tuesday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Titans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks, sneaking past 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since May 7, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Ruby Garrett, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Buckingham, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Garrett wasn't the only one making solid contact: Glenbrook South kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
