Soccer Recap: Cedar Ridge Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Cedar Ridge after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the LEE Volunteers by a score of 2-1. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Gaby Jaimes, which was the first she's scored this season.

Cedar Ridge now has a losing record at 1-2. As for LEE, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Cedar Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Hutto on the 14th. As for LEE, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clark at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. Clark will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something LEE surely won't give up without a fight.
