Basketball Recap: South Garner's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

South Garner put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 58-35 margin over the Dudley Panthers. Fans of the Titans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Among those leading the charge was Chloe Crawford, who posted 16 points and six boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in January. Aaliyah Ballard was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven boards and three steals.

South Garner smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 22 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Dudley still got an impressive performance from Janiah Terry, who scored 13 points and four steals.

South Garner's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dudley, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

South Garner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-57 loss against NC GBB Academy National on the 6th. As for Dudley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-4 win against Northeast Guilford on the 4th.
