Football Game Preview: Randle Lions vs. Terry Rangers + How To Watch

The Randle Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Terry Rangers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Randle will be strutting in after a win while Terry will be coming in after a defeat.

Randle's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 75-0 victory over Lee. That looming 75-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Tyler Skrabanek was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 8-for-8 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1).

Randle's run defense was locked in: Lee could only muster -0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Camron Hypolite for the heroic effort on defense: he. Randle didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.3.

Randle's defense also made the game a nightmare for Shunderrion Davis, racking up seven sacks. Jalyn Burton was especially locked on to Lee's QB and sacked him twice. Burton is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Kyron Cooley got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Terry played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 41-15 to Fort Bend Marshall. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 655th, while the Buffalos are ranked 163rd).

Randle's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Terry, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground. Randle has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 272.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Terry struggles in that department as they've been averaging 152.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Everything came up roses for Randle against Terry in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
