After only two runs in their last contest, Elkhorn made sure to put some runs up on the board against Palmyra-Eagle on Thursday. The Elks blew past the Panthers 12-2. For the Elks, this counts as revenge for the 9-5 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Veronica Siegler spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Elkhorn let Ella Uhlenhake and Ellie Jacobson run wild. Uhlenhake went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and one double, while Jacobson went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
