Basketball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Carver Tigers, falling 99-21. The Red Jackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-10.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Carver, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Jordan will be playing in front of their home fans against Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spencer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Jordan likes a good challenge. As for Carver, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Carver Tigers face off against the Sumter County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Carver's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 games.
