Marian Catholic extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ty Jackson. The Spartans blew past the Unity Christian Academy Phoenix, posting a 61-31 win for which the team can thank Jackson, who posted ten points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Jackson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Marian Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Unity Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Marian Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Southland College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
