Basketball Recap: Zion Chapel Comes Up Short

Zion Chapel and Pike Liberal Arts squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Zion Chapel had to settle for second. They fell 38-30 to the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 41-26.

Zion Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Pike Liberal Arts, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-16.

Zion Chapel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pike Liberal Arts, they will take on Luverne at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Luverne will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pike Liberal Arts surely won't give up without a fight.
