Basketball Recap: Superior Central Takes a Loss

Superior Central was the 33-28 winner over Rapid River when they last played one another on February 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Superior Central Cougars fell 37-26 to the Rapid River Rockets on Wednesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Superior Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Rapid River, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

Superior Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rapid River, they will take on North Dickinson in a tournament on Friday. North Dickinson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Rapid River likes a good challenge.
