There's no place like home for Santa Clara, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Fremont Firebirds 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bruins have posted since March 7th.

Jasmine (Jazzy) Ramirez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Averie Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

The victory got Santa Clara back to even at 11-11. As for Fremont, their record is now 6-11.

Santa Clara has already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Palo Alto on the 16th. As for Fremont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 14-3 defeat against Saratoga on the 16th.
