Volleyball Recap: Morningside Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Morningside Academy entered their tilt with Westwood on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Morningside Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Westwood to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-7.

Morningside Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Westwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. After both having extra time off, Morningside Academy and Atlantic Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westwood, they will square off against Treasure Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
