Lawrence County was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Floyd Central on Thursday. The Bulldogs blew past the Jaguars 11-1. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by nine runs or more this season.

Lawrence County's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-7. As for Floyd Central, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will challenge Betsy Layne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Floyd Central, they will square off against Breathitt County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
