Basketball Recap: All S Takes a Loss

All S lost to Coram Deo Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Saints took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Selah Johnson had another great game (as she tends to do), going 13-for-28 on her way to 40 points and seven boards for Coram Deo Academy. That makes it six consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least a third of the Lions' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lainey Jaetzold, who posted eight points.

All S' loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Coram Deo Academy, they moved to 16-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. All S will take on rival Trinity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coram Deo Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Grace Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
