Softball Recap: LaPoynor Comes Up Short

LaPoynor fell victim to Cross Roads and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Bobcats. The Flyers haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

LaPoynor's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Cross Roads, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-9.

While LaPoynor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
