Baseball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Foundation Christian Academy won the last time they faced Gulf Coast HEAT and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers' way against Gulf Coast HEAT as the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers made off with a 21-6 win. Considering the Panthers have won four contests by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Caleb Hom was a standout: he scored four runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Coakley, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.

Foundation Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .725. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gulf Coast HEAT only posted an OBP of .478.

Foundation Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
