Riley County won the last time they faced Concordia and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

While Riley County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-24.

Audrey Holle paced Riley County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Holle got some help from Katelyn Allison and her 14 assists. Holle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Concordia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bridgett Blochlinger had nine assists and six digs.

Riley County's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Concordia, they moved to 13-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Riley County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Marysville on the 4th. As for Concordia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Southeast of Saline on the 4th.
