They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Bishop Lynch 56-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pioneers have posted since November 16, 2024.

May's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.1 points per game. As for North Central Texas Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 23-7.
