Volleyball Recap: Willow Spring Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Willow Spring extended their losing streak to ten on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-11. They lost 3-0 to the Apex Friendship Patriots. The Storm were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

As for Apex Friendship, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Shelby Fuller, who had 17 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last five times she's played. Emelia Watson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willow Spring will welcome Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Apex Friendship, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Felton Grove at 6:00 p.m.
