Softball Recap: Straughn Takes a Loss

Straughn lost against Andalusia on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 7-1. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Straughn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Andalusia, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Straughn will head out to face off against Pike County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Andalusia, they will head out on the road to challenge Greenville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
