Last Thursday, Jackson Day made easy work of Valor Preparatory Academy and carried off an 18-1 win. The victory was just what Jackson Day needed coming off of a 19-3 defeat in their prior contest.

Dillon Burch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Burch was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with a stolen base.
