Western Sierra Collegiate Academy waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Buckingham Charter Knights. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by 11 runs or more this season.
Western Sierra Collegiate Academy let Wyatt Thoennes-Currie and Alex Azevedo run wild. Thoennes-Currie went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Azevedo scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. What's more, Thoennes-Currie posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Dawson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
