Brusly had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tara Trojans a 15-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.
Abigail Heidbrink looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Addison Stein, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Marnet Jackson also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
