Baseball Recap: South Pike Comes Up Short

South Pike lost against Wesson on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Cobras, falling 13-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Pike's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Wesson, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

South Pike has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Jefferson County on the 31st. As for Wesson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 25-2 win against Port Gibson on the 1st.
