Basketball Game Preview: Milbank Bulldogs vs. Webster Bearcats

Milbank has gone 8-2 against Webster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Milbank Bulldogs will square off against the Webster Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. Milbank has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Milbank was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Madison on Tuesday. Milbank breezed past Madison to the tune of 60-20. Milbank has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Webster beat Leola/Frederick 59-46 on Saturday. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Milbank's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Webster, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Everything went Milbank's way against Webster in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Milbank made off with a 60-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Milbank since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
