Basketball Recap: Bishop Rosecrans Find Success

Bishop Rosecrans won the last time they faced Miller, and Tyler Bernett did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops came out on top against the Miller Falcons by a score of 65-56 on Tuesday thanks in part to Bernett, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Nick Bernath, who posted five points along with six steals and five assists. Those six steals gave him a new career-high.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Dorsey, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Bodey Dorsey was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Bishop Rosecrans' win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Miller, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fisher Catholic the next time they take the court. Miller will head out to face Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Bishop Rosecrans will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
